Sukrit Gupta and Sayudh Ray from Delhi Public School, New Town, Win the Kolkata Edition of TCS InQuizitive 2025



KOLKATA, November 13, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) continued its journey of celebrating young intellect and innovation with the Kolkata edition of its flagship annual quiz, TCS InQuizitive 2025 in Kolkata. The event witnessed a vibrant mix of enthusiasm, quick thinking, and teamwork as students competed for the top spot. As part of a 12-city national series open to students from grades 8 to 12, the Kolkata edition witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of 150 teams consisting of 300 bright minds representing 44 schools from across West Bengal and neighbouring regions.

The quiz show turned out to be an outstanding regional showcase of talent and curiosity. In addition to local teams from Kolkata, participants travelled from nearby districts, including Bardhaman, Raniganj, Barasat, and Rishra, adding to the event’s competitive spirit. After several intense rounds of quizzing, Sukrit Gupta and Sayudh Ray from Delhi Public School, New Town emerged as the winners of the Kolkata edition of TCS InQuizitive. Their performance stood out for its clarity, speed, and composure, true hallmarks of quizzing excellence. 
The event was graced by Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director of the Indian Statistical Institute, and Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti, a professor, technologist, software developer, content creator, author, serial entrepreneur, and venture capitalist, who attended as Guests of Honor, and Mr. Manojit Sengupta, Delivery Centre Head for the Eastern Region at TCS, who represented Tata Consultancy Services.

TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative designed to enhance curiosity and awareness among students in fields such as information technology, science, sports, engineering, and art. There is no entry fee for participation. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The winning duo will now represent Kolkata in the National Finals of TCS InQuizitive 2025, where they will compete against champions from other cities across India.
