Kolkata, 7th February 2026: Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM), a JIS Group educational initiative hosted its much-awaited annual gala food festival, “AMALGAM 2026”. The vibrant celebration brought together the essence of India’s rich culinary heritage and cultural vibrancy, reinforcing the institute’s continued commitment to excellence in Hospitality, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology.
AMALGAM 2026 featured an elaborate spread of food stalls showcasing an array of regional Indian delicacies, innovative culinary creations, indulgent desserts, and refreshing beverages. Guests embarked on a flavourful journey across India, experiencing authentic tastes and contemporary interpretations curated by budding hospitality professionals. The festival also resonated with cultural exuberance, as the event unfolded as a confluence of food, music, and celebration, reflecting the dynamic spirit of India.
The evening was graced by the presence of eminent personalities including renowned actor Anirban Bhattacharya, popular singer Rishi Panda, celebrated food vloggers, and other distinguished guests from the world of art, culture, and gastronomy. Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director JIS Group; Sardar Harinder Pal Singh, Trustee JIS Group along with senior members of the JIS Group management were also present at the occasion.
