Himalaya Facecare Celebrates Poila Boishakh Across Kolkata with Poila Parbon 2026

Kolkata, 17 March 2026: As Kolkata welcomes the Bengali New Year with music, food, and community celebrations, Himalaya Wellness joined the festivities through a citywide engagement initiative culminating at Poila Parbon 2026, one of the city’s most anticipated cultural carnivals celebrating the vibrant spirit of Bengali culture.

Held between March 12 and March 15 at Central Park, Karunamoyee, Salt Lake Bookfair Ground, the four-day cultural extravaganza brought together families, artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural enthusiasts for a vibrant celebration of Bengal’s traditions and contemporary creative expression. From live music and artisanal markets to food and cultural showcases, the festival once again highlighted Kolkata’s enduring love for art, culture, and community.

As part of the celebrations, Himalaya Wellness participated as a sponsor, engaging audiences through its Dark Spots Clearing Turmeric range and Brightening Vitamin C range, along with a series of activations designed to bring skincare experiences closer to consumers across Kolkata.
In the lead-up to the festival, a branded experiential van travelled across the city for 10 days starting 27 February, offering people across Kolkata an opportunity to explore the skincare benefits of the Dark Spots Clearing Turmeric range and Brightening Vitamin C range through demonstrations, product trials, and sampling. The initiative also extended to the city’s student community through activations across ten leading colleges, including St. Andrew’s College and New Alipore College, encouraging conversations around simple, everyday skincare routines inspired by natural ingredients.

The celebrations culminated at Poila Parbon 2026, where Himalaya hosted a dedicated stall featuring the Turmeric and Vitamin C range, inviting festival-goers to explore the products while immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere. The brand also supported the event through on-ground presence, event branding, and sponsorship of the fashion show, adding to the vibrant cultural experience of the carnival.

Commenting on the collaboration, Rajesh Krishnamurthy, Business Director – CPD, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “Cultural moments like Poila Boishakh present a valuable opportunity for brands to connect with consumers in authentic, community-driven settings. Through initiatives like Poila Parbon, we aim to build stronger awareness around our nature-inspired and science-backed skincare solutions while engaging meaningfully with audiences as they celebrate traditions and togetherness.”

Sharing a thought behind the festival, Ragini Hariharan, Marketing Director – Beauty & Personal Care, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “Poila Boishakh is a time when Kolkata comes together to celebrate tradition, community, and self-expression. Through neighbourhood activations, campus engagements, and our presence at Poila Parbon, we wanted to connect with consumers in spaces where they celebrate and introduce simple skincare routines inspired by natural ingredients like Vitamin C and Turmeric.”
