Kolkata, 20 March , 2026 :
Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar (VRSP), 2025 presentation ceremony was organised today i.e. on 20.03.2026 at Metro Rail Bhavan. Shri Subhransu S. Mishra, General Manager, Metro Railway inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp in presence of Smt. Madhumita Mishra, President, MRWWO.
In the event, Shri Mishra, joined by all Principal Head of Departments, presented awards to best performing staff and officers who have rendered their meritorious services to Metro Railway in different spheres.
General Manager, Metro Railway also handed over Efficiency Shields to five teams in different categories including Noapara shops, Kalighat Metro station etc.
This programme was attended by all senior officers, members of staff unions and associations.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Mishra congratulated all the award winners and said that these awards are recognition of their exemplary services in different fields. He thanked all other staff for their contribution in sustained improvements in all areas.
