24 May 2026: A new Cataract Surgery Unit and ICU/SICU/HDU Unit was inaugurated at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital on 23 May .
Subhransu S Mishra, General Manager, Metro Railway inaugurated the new fqcilities in presence of Dr Nataraj B, Principal Chief Medical Director, Eastern Railway, Dr Anjana Malhotra, Principal Chief Medical Director, South Eastern Railway, Dr Gopa Majumdar, Principal Chief Medical Officer, Metro Railway, along with other senior officers of Metro Railway, Kolkata, MRWWO members led by Smt. Madhumita Mishra, President, MRWWO
Mishra has expressed his hope that the newly inaugurated facilities would help all the beneficiaries.
